Eggbert it wouldn't matter if no-one in your team won the ball in midfield - by the time the opposition reached Bonds and Dicks, they couldn't do anything with it anyway.
Incidentally I totally agree that Bonds was our best right back, never mind that he spent most of his career in midfield.
Being realistic for a moment, I'm not sure that PDC would fit very well into a team based largely on 60s/70s teamwork ethic. I might go for a more honest and consistent all-round player like Cottee.
